Our Reading Parties, in collaboration with LAVIDITA, invite you to reconnect with the magic of reading, chatting, and raising a glass without rushing, in a cosy atmosphere with carefully selected music. Each edition features a special theme designed to inspire reading and guide conversation.

Discover our programme for 2026:

• 28 January – Paths
  Physical and emotional journeys, decisions, processes and trajectories that transform. Reading as an impetus towards a new path, or as a window to those yet to be travelled. 
• 25 March – The Roaring Twenties
  On the centenary of the publication of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, we celebrate the glamour, intensity and good vibes of the 1920s to the rhythm of jazz. 
• 20 May – Madrid
  In May, Almudena Grandes would have turned 65. A chance to read and talk about Madrid as a setting, a protagonist and a source of energy, exploring the city through its literature and spirit.
• 24 June – Odysseys
  Coinciding with the release of The Odyssey, Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s classic, we explore life journeys full of twists that transform us. Readings and conversations about adventures and new horizons.
• 22 September – Future Mode
  A nod to science fiction, technology and possible futures. Readings and conversations that show how literature has driven change and helps us imagine the worlds to come.
• 11 November – Rhythms
  We explore the connection between music and literature through authors who drew from poetry for their lyrics: Sabina, Cohen, Bowie, Patti Smith… An evening full of rhythm.

Whichever you choose, all you need to bring is a book you associate with the theme and a real desire to read. Are you in?
